Treatment

Postural abnormalities can be reduced or completely resolved with appropriate treatment of the underlying injuries. Most musculoskeletal sprain injuries that cause postural issues are resolvable through Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) or Prolotherapy—without resorting to surgery.  Interim use of a Sacroiliac Belt or stouter back brace may be appropriate.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy would be more appropriate if the sprain injury and dysfunction are due to significant ligament or tendon tearing.
